Frequently Asked questions

Do I Need to Provide the Alcohol?

Yes, clients are responsible for supplying the alcohol for their event, as The Traveling Tavern does not hold a liquor license. However, we are fully insured to serve alcohol at private events where drinks are complimentary to guests (such as weddings, birthdays, showers, corporate events, and more).

As a dry bar for hire, we are happy to assist you in the shopping process by offering recommendations and quantity suggestions tailored to your event. Due to Tennessee state regulations, we are unable to supply or sell alcohol directly, which also means we cannot operate a cash bar.

If needed, we can provide our business license and Certificate of Insurance (COI) to your venue for verification.

How Far in Advance Should I Book?

We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid your date not being available.

Do You Charge For Travel?

We charge for travel depending on the location of your event.

Do You Only Serve Alcohol?

No! We can create custom mocktails and other mixed beverages of your choice to match the theme of your event.

Can You Help Me Figure Out How Much Alcohol I Will Need?

Yes! We will help you determine exactly what you need and how much based on your guest count. The Traveling Tavern is not responsible if you run out of beverages for your event.
